Scholarship Application 2019


  • The Scholarship
    The scholarship will be a grant of up to $1,000 to be applied to the costs of tuition, room, and board, fees or books and materials incurred as part of a college education. If the grant is greater than $600 the applicant's social security number will be required for the filing of a 1099 form with the IRS.
  • Eligibility
    Graduating seniors living within the White Salmon School District and intending to study the arts at an accredited college or university may apply.
  • Deadline The application and all supporting materials must be received by May 3, 2019.
  • The Selection Process The applicant will provide a completed application by May 3, 2019 along with a written statement of intent to study the visual or performing arts and three letters of recommendation. If the application is accepted, the applicant may be scheduled for an interview by the Selection Committee of the White Salmon Arts Council and asked to make a presentation of a portfolio, demonstration or performance of their work.
  • The Disbursement of Funds
    The grant will be awarded to the student upon proof of enrollment in an educational institution.
