Graduating seniors who intend on studying the arts at an accredited college or university are eligible to apply for a White Salmon Arts Council scholarship grant of up to $2,000. Applicants can be public, private, parochial, or homeschool students living within the boundaries of the White Salmon Valley, Lyle, Klickitat, Glenwood, or Trout Lake school districts. The due date for submission of applications for 2017 is April 30. The scholarship grants will be announced at the end of May or first part of June 2017. The annual scholarship will help foster the mission of the White Salmon Arts Council to develop and promote artists and the arts through educational opportunities. The White Salmon arts Council is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
